ABYAN (Arrahmah.com) – Recently three Muslims converts from Sweden reported that joined the Mujahideen of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) or Ansar Al-Sharia in the Islamic Emirate of Waqar (formen Jaar), Yemen according to the sources from local tribes, as reported by Bikya Masri news agency, Wednesday (2/5/2012).
The report said that the three Swedish came to Yemen officialy as tourists. Then after they reached area of Mujahideen, in the city of Waqar, they joined together Mujahideen to wage Jihad against the enemy.
Currently unknown, whether they make hijra with their family or just alone.
The three Muslims converts arrived in Abyan on Monday (30/4) and currently reside in the Islamic Emirate of Waqar.
According to other sources in Yemen, each week Mujahideen AQAP are joined by at least 60 new Muslim volunteers.
Western and Yemeni puppet sources acknowledged that the fighters in the ranks of AQAP along with Yemenis, are natives of other countries, including Arabia, Syria, Somalia, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, Iraq, Tunisia, Pakistan, Afghanistan and even Sunnis from Shiite Iran and distant Indonesia.
In December 2011 it became known that Russian-speaking Muslims are also on the side of the AQAP Mujahideen fighting in Yemen.
It is not surprising that many Muslims who make hijra (migrated) from outside Yemen to Yemen, especially to Aden-Abyan. This is beacause Muslims believe that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “The army of 12,000 will come from the Aden-Abyan, it will give victory to Allah and His Messenger, and is best among us”.
