YAMAN (Arrahmah.com) – Ansar Forum report that warplanes of the puppet regime shelled the town of Shaqra on Thursday morning, trying to attack the house of Sheikh Tariq al-Fadli, who officially announced that he had joined al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (aka AQAP or Ansar Al-Sharia).
He said his sons had been already waging the Jihad among the ranks of the Mujahideen.
“As for my sons, they are youth and were present with me in Abyan when my house was attacked for several times. When my sons saw what happened to me and their country and the creation of Ansar Al-Sharia, they joined Ansar Al-Sharia and fought with them, and I’m proud of that. Mohammed Tariq the first to fight along with Ansar Al-Sharia in Abyan, and now Jalaludin is fighting in the fronts of Laudar. And if I had one thousand sons I wouldn’t chose for them any other way but this path, which is the fighting for the sake of Allah, and I ask Allah to give them success and victory”, said Sheikh Tariq al-Fadli.
When asked about the news that one of his sons martyred in Lauder, al-Fadli said:
“It is my wish that they martyr in Lauder. If one of my sons or myself were killed, then I would receive what I wished, what I had been seeking since my jihad in Afghanistan. I’m an old man now, and I ask Allah to accept good deeds in my long life, but these youth want the Hoors of Al-Ein right now”.
Al-Fadli also called the Muslim youth to come to Abyan and to act in the way of Allah: “The banner of La ilaha illa-Allah has been raised in Abyan and will remain there to the Day of Judgment, until it reaches all the lands of the Muslims”.
It is worthy to mention that Sheikh Tariq Al-Fadli is the son of the last sultan of the Fadhli Sultanate. He participated in the Jihad against the Russian invaders of Afghanistan in 1980’s, and supported the government of North Yemen in the war of secession in 1994.
In 2009, he declared that he had joined the separatist Southern Movement. Later, the Saleh’s regime accused him of being a part of al-Qaeda, so in 2010 he raised an American flag in his courtyard and played its national anthem just to refute the accusation.
