SRINAGAR (Arrahmah.com) – In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred four youth at Maidanpora in Lolab, yesterday (15/7/2011), during a siege and search operation.
Earlier, one trooper was killed and four others were injured in a clash in the same area.
The occupation authorities continued to place veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, under house arrest for the fifth consecutive day, while the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza were also confined to their residences, today. Indian police arrested senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah in Pakherpora where he was scheduled to address a public gathering.
Hurriyet leaders, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Yasmeen Raja, Zafar Akbar Butt and Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in their statements strongly denounced the recent blasts in Indian city of Mumbai that left several people dead and scores injured. APHC leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash addressing a public meeting in Ganderbal termed the blasts as the worst form of terrorism.
The puppet Chief Minister of the occupied territory, Omar Abdullah, talking to media men in Srinagar lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party leader, L.K Advani for blaming Pakistan over the Mumbai blasts.
Activists of Peoples Democratic Party, led by Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, staged protest demonstrations in Srinagar against the killing and arrest of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian police. The police resorted to baton charge to disperse the protesters.
A German tourist was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a hotel in Ladakh region.
