(Arrahmah.com) – A former jihadi commander belonging from Hazara tribe joined the Taliban or Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan along with his 50 fighters in central Afghanistan, the Taliban said on Friday.
A video released by the Taliban shows former jihadi commander identified as Ali Muhammad Fidaee announcing his joining with the Taliban and jihad against US-led invaders forces.
The Taliban spokesman Qari Muhammad Yousuf Ahmadi told the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP) that Fidaee had been appointed as military officer for Shahristan district of Daykundi province.
He will fight against the foreign forces under the leadership of Islamic Emirate.
“The joining of Muhammad Ali Fidaee with the Islamic Emirate proves that it (Islamic Emirate) is comprised of all the tribes of the country in which all Muslim Afghans take part,” he added.
Regarding the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate, Fidaee says it has a constitution, and that the Taliban are Muslims and people of Afghanistan. (siraaj/AIP/arrahmah.com)
