ISLAMABAD (Arrahmah.com) – The Rawalpindi anti-terrorist court has summoned all Benazir Bhutto murder case accused, including former leader Pervez Musharraf, for its upcoming hearing this month.
The case was heard on Saturday by ATC judge Chaudhry Habibur Rehman.
Musharraf, who has already been summoned in the case twice, still failed to appear for the Saturday hearing.
The same court had earlier declared Musharraf a “proclaimed offender” or fugitive and issued an arrest warrant for him after he failed to cooperate with investigators probing the assassination.
Musharraf has also been accused of failing to provide adequate security to Bhutto when she returned to Pakistan from self-exile in 2007.
The judge issued summons for him and the other accused, the Dawnreports.
The hearing of the case was subsequently adjourned to April 23.
Bhutto was assassinated in a gunand-bomb attack outside Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh on December 27, 2007.
She was killed after addressing an election campaign rally in the city.
