(Arrahmah.com) – Muslims throughout the world remember and commemorate the trials and triumphs of the Prophet Abraham ‘alayhissalaam during the Hajj. It is the Qur’an that describes Abraham as follows:
“Surely Abraham was an example, obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the polytheists. He was grateful for Our bounties. We chose him and guided him unto a right path. We gave him good in this world, and in the next he will most surely be among the righteous.” (Qur’an 16:120-121)
Therefore, in order to motivate Muslims to follow Abraham’s path, our Amir-ul-Momineen of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IIA), Mullah Momammad Omar Mujahid Allahu yarhamhu sends us this beautiful message from his deepest heart.

He urge all Muslims to remember the needy and miserable countrymen, Mujahideen, refugees, families of martyrs and prisoners, orphans and widows in these auspicious days of Eid and cattle slaughtering, during dispensation of aid and help them as possible as can be, to spend the Eid days in joy.
Message of Felicitation of the Esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen, Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid, (may Allah protect him) on the Eve of Eid-ul-Odha
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. Praise is to Allah.
Praise be to Allah alone (Who) helped His Servant and gave victory to His army and defeated all the Confederates single-handedly. There is no god but Allah. We worship none except Him. The religion is purely for Him, though the unbelievers may dislike it. Peace and blessing be on the (Holy) Prophet (Mohammad p.b.u.h.) after whom no prophet will be advented. Peace be on his descendants and companions.
Having said that, I proceed as follows:
Allah, the Almighty, says:
“And remember when you were few and were reckoned weak in the land and were afraid that men might kidnap you but He provided a safe place for you, strengthened you with His help and provided you with good things so that you might be grateful.” (Al-Qur’an, 8:26)
To the believing and Mujahid nation of Afghanistan,
To all Mujahideen of the path of honor and freedom,
To all Muslims brothers and sisters in the world,
I extend you my felicitation on the occasion of the auspicious Eid and ask Allah, the Almighty to accept your worship and sacrifices in His Sight.
(My) Mujahid people! Your Jihad and ungrudging sacrifices against the occupation have defeated the Americans, their Western allies and domestic supporters altogether with the Help of Allah (May Glory be upon Him). All their strategies have proved to be ineffective, with their diplomatic efforts facing fiasco, besides disgrace and ignominy. The NATO Summit in Wales under the leadership of America, the recent slandering in Afghanistan under the name of elections and the continuous advancements of the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate are proofs, speaking well for themselves.
Respected countrymen, You would have, by now, come around to know what sort of unqualified figures, being loyal to foreigners’ interests, have been imposed on you by the Americans. You have seen in the (past) 13 years, the astronomical dimension of the atrocities that the invaders and their domestic supporters have unleashed against the people. The long-drawn and contentious process of the elections conducted under the shadow of occupation has portrayed the broad scope of credibility loss that the invaders do face with the passage of each day. As we had predicted earlier, the public of the world and the country men noticed that the process of the publicity stint under the name of elections was only aimed at misleading people. The votes of the Afghans were no more than a fanfare.
The Americans are entangled in Afghanistan in a long war of their history. The astronomical military and financial losses and the dwindling of America’s status credibility at world’s level are signs indicating her decline. The jittery-haunted rulers of the White House are trying, in a state of despondency, to win this disadvantageous war. However, they have lost all possibilities to win it. Their domestic (Afghan) supporters whom the American have arrayed to wage the fight against Mujahideen have lost their morale, being plagued by internal differences.
Mujahid brothers! In order to take a desired benefit from the Jihadic resistance and in order to put an ever-growing pressure on the enemy in the battle grounds of Jihad, you should absorb the following instructions: Focus on keeping unity among the Jihadic flanks; have good conduct with the common people; show them compassion and keep with them close relations. This is to boost up your support among the masses. In addition to the help of Allah, all our victories of the Jihadic formation are the product of the support of the masses. Allah, the Almighty says to the Holy Prophet:
“It is) He (Who) has made you strong with His help and with the believers. ” (8:62)
It can be concluded from the above verse, that the support of the general Muslims (people) is pivotal in gaining victory, so much so that, Allah, the Almighty, has exclusively mentioned it as His favor bestowed on the Holy Prophet(peace be upon him). Therefore, if Mujahideen and the people have unity of view and action in implementation of Jihadic planning, the trajectory of Jihadic victories will surely ascend, if God willing, leaving an extensive impact on the enemy.
Since the invaders have faced defeat, therefore, they are bent on flaring up various differences among the Afghan people, based on faction, ethnicity, geography and religion. Thus, they want to take revenge on the Afghans for the defeat. Our sagacious people and Mujahideen should try to foil this conspiracy of the enemy by maintaining their unity and utterly desist from actions posing harm to the unity of the Afghan Muslim people.
The aim and objective of our jihad against the invading Americans and their allies is to obtain the pleasure of Allah, the Almighty; to establish Islamic System; to put an end to the occupation and, without any discrimination, bring about prosperity and well-being for our suffering people. Therefore, Mujahideen must work out their programs in a way that ensure realization and embodiment of the above-mentioned goals.
Continue all your efforts for overall victory during Jihadic and military activities in a way that contributes to the strengthening of the Jihadic flank. Give priority to the work of infiltration of the infiltrating Mujahideen in the military ranks of the Americans and their domestic supporters and to the allurement of their high-ranking security personnel. Pay exclusive attention to the infiltrating Mujahideen, to their families and children. Provide security to those who have left the ranks of the enemy besides maintaining possibility of an honorable life for them.
The Islamic Emirate is trying to reach its lofty goal through military activities and through inception of positive relations with world’s credible sides. It has conveyed its message to the public of the world via its media outfit and the political office. It is to be mentioned that maintenance of contact and relations with all foreign and domestic sides falls under the sphere of the political office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. (Except that) no entity and person has right to initiate contact with any foreign and domestic political side or person, while posing as representative of the Islamic Emirate.
Apart from the Americans who has still an implausible posturing regarding our country and issue, other sides at world’s level, have come around to understand the legitimacy and truth of (our) cause. It has been dawned on them that the Islamic Emirate has been compelled to take up arms for the defense of its belief and country. It is its legitimate right.
Though the Americans are still bent on continuing a maligning campaign against us for the obtainment of their evil objectives, but it only holds water among America’s-affiliated circles. We would increasingly continue our all-sided military and political efforts in the way of the legitimate defense of our cause, to put an end to the occupation and establish a powerful Islamic sovereignty.
Security and well-being of the people are the fundamental aims of these efforts. We will reach these goals with the help of Allah, the Almighty, the selfless-dedication and sacrifices of our Muslim people. On our way forward, we put our trust in God, seeking His help.
The unprecedented resistance of the Palestinian people in the month of Ramadan and Shawal and the winning of the war is a matter of pride for all Muslims. I ask Allah, the Almighty, to constantly keep them united and triumphant.
The recurrent American intervention in the Islamic World is the result of the America’s wrong and failed policies which always prove harmful to all sides.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I urge all Muslims to remember the needy and miserable countrymen, Mujahideen, refugees, families of martyrs and prisoners, orphans and widows in these auspicious days of Eid and cattle slaughtering, during dispensation of aid and help them as possible as can be, to spend the Eid days in joy. Since many benefactors have offered their assistance for that purpose in the past and they still continue to do so, I thank them all and ask Allah (SwT) to bestow on them His generous blessing.
To end, I extend you my congratulations on the recent victories of Mujahideen as I do felicitate you on the occasion of the auspicious Eid. May Allah, the Almighty, make this Eid, an Eid of comfort and well-being for Afghanistan and all the Islamic Ummah, and salvage the oppressed Muslims in the world from the (tentacles of) mischief of the aggressive tyrants.
