ABYAN (Arrahmah.com) – As reported by the agency Bikya Masr, the puppet “Yemeni government” claimed victory over the units of the Mujahideen of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). The puppets say their military minions allegedly pushed back the AQAP fighters in the area al-Rahha in the southern province of Lahij.
However, a puppet from enemy intelligence refuted the statements of the puppet army command:
“The army forces were trying to regain control over the region, but they did not make any progress for fear of suicide bombings”.
Local tribes have also reported that the puppets are engaged in a disinformation campaign to bolster the fighting spirit in the puppets, while in fact, the enemy army continues to retreat under fierce attacks of the Mujahideen of al-Qaeda.
Meanwhile, some fighters have attacked several bases, checkpoints and positions of the puppet regime in the area of Arhab, about 30 km north of the Yemeni capital of Sana’a.
According to local sources, the attacks took place within an hour at the following locations: the 3rd Infantry Brigade, the 83rd Brigade, “the Republican Guard”, the 62th Mechanized Brigade and the 63rd Mountain Infantry Brigade.
There have been also attacks on the “Republican Guard” base in Arhab, a puppet from enemy local law enforcement agency said on condition of anonymity, adding that the attacking side actively used mortars, machine guns and RPGs.
Convoys of military vehicles of unknown fighters had machine guns and mortars and they were seen moving around the hill Vasal in the area of Arhab, which became a platform for attacks on the facilities of the puppet regime.
It is to be recalled that puppet officials previously claimed that well-armed units of AQAP Mujahideen had arrived in the area of Arhab.
In the central province of Marib, sabotage units of al-Qaeda blew up, for the second time within the past few days, the main oil pipeline which supplies crude oil to the main export terminal in the southern province of Shabwa.
“A huge blaze could been seen hours after the explosion took place”, a local puppet official said.
Residents of Shabwa, in turn, said that the Mujahideen of al-Qaeda were present throughout the whole province and that the puppets were unable to push them back.
“They are hardened fighters, those al-Qaeda people….With the army being so divided right now, I don’t think we have a chance”, said Hussein Badr, a tribesman from Shabwa.
