SOMALIA (Arrahmah.com) – Al-Shabaab Mujahideen have successfully resolved a long standing tribal dispute between two tribes in the region of Galguduud, HSM Press reported.
The reconciliation process took more than a month under the shade of a tree, as per Somali tradition.
The reconciliation process was initiated by Sheikh Hassan Yacqub,The Governor of the Islamic Administration of Galguduud.
The two tribes have been engaged in battles for months, resulting in the death of up to 29 people.
After lengthy and carefully consultations, the Islamic court in Galguduud has finally managed to settle the dispute.
In addition, for each man killed during the battles, his family would receive 100 camels, which is equivalent of 40,000 dollars in compensation.
Both parties have fully come to an understanding and the meeting ended in perfect harmony.
And such is the unparalleled justice of Islam that draws the Somali population to the Mujahideen.
