HELMAND (Arrahmah.com) – Reports from southern Helmand province say that foreign and hireling troops were airdropped in Malmand township yesterday morning, sparking heavy clashes when the Mujahideen engaged the enemy lasting till dusk time with the enemy sustain heavy casualties.
After the fighting stopped, the cowardly enemy began terrorizing and beating the innocent locals and before leaving at night time, set fire to 200 shops and a showroom with 22 parked vehicles to avenge their losses.
To order that this crime be condemned or at the minimum exposed to our countrymen, we contacted local offices of BBC and AP and asked them to visit the site and fulfill their duty as journalist. After a long period, they rejected the call and excused themselves by saying that their offices have disallowed coverage of the event and have also been threatened by the stooge government officials with grave repercussion if they fail to abide by the order.
We however hope that the media retains their integrity and freedom or otherwise will further lose their credibility in the eyes of the people.
