(Arrahmah.com) – It is the great blessings of Allah Almighty that He has bestowed us with faith, the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
It is obvious that religion guides us onto the right path. All the Muslims are brothers among themselves and it is manifestation of ‘faith’ to love one another for the sake of Allah Almighty. We should follow the teaching of the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). We should refer our differences and disputes to the scholars and should obey their verdict with sincerity.
The Muslims should help one another and share their joys and sorrows. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has said:
(The believers are like one body in sympathy and benevolence among themselves; when one organ is in trouble, the whole body suffers from fever.)
We should work for the unification of the Muslims; we should prefer the interests of the Muslim Ummah to our personal interests; we should bury the hatchet and disgust and not consider ones opinion superior to another; humility and love should be shown to one another. The Prophet (SAW) and his companions used to be kind to each other and stern against their enemies. Love, kindness, brotherhood and care for one another bestows the help of Allah upon us as Allah (SWT) says:
(Verily, Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a solid structure) Surah As-Saff, 4.
A Muslim must submit himself completely to the commands of Islamic Shariah as Allah (SWT) says:
(But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (SAW)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.) Surah An-Nisa, 65.
A Shura must be convened by all the leaders of the various Jihadi groups, intellectuals and esteemed scholars in order for them to settle their disputes in its light as Allah (SWT) says:
(and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation) Ash-Shura, 38.
Muslims must stay away from Ghulu (extremism) in religion and desist from ruling on others. They should not have bad assumptions about their brothers and not believe baseless accusations and propaganda as Allah (SWT) says:
(O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.) Al-Hujuraat, 6.
Difference of opinion about various issues is quite natural in the human society. It is the duty of the elders and the sagacious people to find out solutions for those differences which otherwise can result in armed conflicts. Our sacred religion has shown us clear guidance for solving our disputes. Allah Almighty says in His Holy Book:
(And if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (SAW), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.) An-Nisa, 59.
And the Prophet (SAW) says:
