(Arrahmah.com) – Hireling ANA/ANP/ALP troops have fled from Sangin district after sustaining severe losses during a failed 10 day operation, according to officials reporting from the area.
Reports say that during the 10 days of constant clashes, 15 enemy tanks and pickup trucks were completely destroyed, 20 IEDs also detonated on the dismounted enemy while 83 enemy personnel including a notorious commander (Abdul Rahman Bozai) were killed and further 45 others wounded, adding that 2 Mujahideen were also martyred (may Allah accept them) in the battle and 5 others injured.
Officials add that as the enemy was fleeing 09:00 am on Thursday morning, Mujahideen ambushed their convoy, leaving 7 tanks, pickup trucks and vans wrecked as well as several gunmen dead and wounded. (shahamat/arrahmah.com)
